Healthy Steps for Teen Parents for February

Gibson Area Hospital Obstetrics Department is again offering Healthy Steps for Teen parents (ages 15-21 years). Healthy Steps for Teen Parents is an award winning program that delivers direct, honest, and encouraging information on the entire pregnancy, birthing, and parenting experience.  This course is designed to help teens successfully meet the challenges of being young parents. 

 

New mothers are encouraged to register for this course by contacting the Gibson Area Hospital OB Department at 217-784-2510 or sign up through the Baby Central Webpage at the Gibson Area Hospital website www.gibsonhospital.org .

 

The February sessions will be held on 3 consecutive Wednesdays, February. 1, 8, and 15. The course is free to those parents delivering at Gibson Area Hospital.  Mothers delivering at other facilities are welcome to attend the course for a small $25 fee.  For more information contact Karen Stevenson - 217-784-2510

 

Health Steps for Teen parents will also hold sessions in April, June, August, October, and December.
