Nutrition Services
Gibson Area Hospital’s clinical dietitian customizes meal plans to fit the individual's specific needs. The dietician is well versed in nutrition through out the lifecycle. The goal is to provide a customized meal plan that is practical and be can followed with a minimum effort. For maximum results it is suggested that a patient meet with the dietician more than once. One session supplies enough information to get started, however, it can not address all of life's issues as they arise.
Gibson Area Hospital’s Annex dietary service provides a liberal diet using low sodium, low fat cooking techniques to encourage the maximum intake. The meals are served restaurant style by the hospital dietary staff.
