Benjamin Brewer, M.D.
Available Every Other Tuesday
Dr. Brewer established the Forrest Family Practice Center in 1998. He is a Family
Physician that delivers babies with office hours in Forrest, Gibson City and Onarga,
IL.
Dr. Brewer is a full-time practicing physician at Gibson Area Hospital and a medical
journalist. His column The Doctor’s Office appears regularly in the Wall Street Journal
Online.
Dr. Brewer resides in Gibson City, IL with his wife, Kim and their four children.

Kathryn (Kay) Sutter, RN, MS, CNM, LCCE
Available on Thursday
Kathryn has been a nurse for 39 years. She has worked in perinatal nursing for approximately
34 of those years. She recieved her basic nursing education at Michael Reese Hospital
and Medical Center in Chicago. She received her BSN and her MS in Perinatal Nursing
from the University of Illinois at Chicago. In 1995, she completed a Post-Master’s
Certificate in Midwifery.
She is currently in private, full-scope practice in Forrest, Illinois. Kay has recently
completed a course in therapeutic hypnosis and plans to use this knowledge to aide
her patients with pain relief in childbirth, weight reduction, smoking cessation,
and stress relief.
She has been married for 36 years to her husband Jim, raised 3 children, and delivered
over 350 babies since her practice was established. She has always considered it
a privilege that a women would choose Kay to care for them during this most precious
time in their lives.

Michelle Evans, APRN, BC, FNP

Available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Michelle has been a nurse since 2001, and became a Family Nurse Practitioner in
2005. She graduated from Millikin University in Decatur, IL with a Bachelor of Science
in Nursing. She worked as the sole nurse at the Piatt County Mental Health Center
in Monticello for two and a half years.
Michelle graduated from the University of Illinois, Champaign/Urbana, Family Nurse
Practitioner Program in the Spring of 2005, receiving a Master of Science in Nursing.
She is accredited as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Family Nurse Practitioner.
Michelle began working at the Onarga Clinic in August 2005, and is enjoying the
wide variety of patients she cares for. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Michelle
provides primary care, including preventative, chronic, and acute care for patients
in all stages of life. Michelle will also be providing prenatal service for OB patients
of Dr. Brewer.
Michelle resides in Cisco, IL with her husband of eight years, Jason, and her four
year old son, Gavin. She enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her family.
