Sports Enhancement Programs
At GAH Sports Medicine we specialize in strength and conditioning programs that are specifically designed to address the athlete’s individual goals. Our strength and conditioning experts will perform a physical assessment on each athlete before your program begins to assess any weaknesses the athlete may have, or to show areas for improvement.
The assessment includes testing to evaluate flexibility, body composition, girth measurements, speed, agility, aerobic power, anaerobic power, muscular strength, and local muscular endurance. Once the testing is done, a specific plan is developed based on the athlete’s initial interview and physical assessment.
After completing all sports enhancement sessions, each athlete will then re-test and areas of improvement will be reviewed. The athlete will receive the pre and post test results to take home to share with their friends, family and even their coaches. Each athlete will also receive a free T-shirt for completing the program.
There are two basic programs offered here at GAH Sports Medicine:
Sports Enhancement and Personal Training
This includes anything from strength training, hand-eye speed/coordination to jump training and flexibility programs.
Speed Development
This program focuses on improving an athlete’s speed, footwork, agility, and first-step mechanics.
Athletes can come in on a one on one basis or with a training partner. See the price sheet for cost differences.
