Gibson Area Hospital offers a convenient specialty wound clinic. The Advanced Wound Healing Clinic is an out-patient hospital-based clinic that treats non-healing chronic wounds such as:

• Pressure ulcers/Bedsores

• Venous Stasis Ulcers

• Diabetic Foot Ulcers

• Other hard-to-heal ulcers and wounds

The Clinic provides advanced wound care treatments including:

• Negative pressure wound therapy

• Multilayer compression therapy

• Skin substitutes

• Total contact casting

• Advanced wound dressings

The Advanced Wound Healing Clinic strives to provide individualized care for patients based on evidence-based practices.  In addition to healing wounds, our focus is to help our patients prevent new wounds from occurring.
