Kim Ferguson Awarded GAHHS Employee of the Month for December

Kim Ferguson has been awarded the Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services (GAHHS) December Employee of the Month. Kim graduated high school from Saybrook-Arrowsmith and currently lives Gibson City. Kim has worked at GAH for 13 years and is currently an Out-Patient Coder.
Kim said that she enjoys her job because of the people and the variety it provides. “I really like my job because I get to talk to all of the offices and our patient load provides me with something new almost every day. This keeps my job fresh and truly enjoyable.”
When asked what she enjoys about working at GAH, Kim replied without hesitation, her department. “For me, my department is like my extended family and I truly enjoy spending my days with them.
When Kim is away from her extended work family she enjoys spending time with her daughter Kelsey, her son Ryan and his wife Kate. When not with her children, you can find Kim reading, golfing, working in her yard, or watching Syracuse Basketball.
