Education

Dr. Dangles received his medical degree from the Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University.  He completed his Orthopaedic residency at the Cook Country Hospital and Sloan Kettering Institute.

 

Special memberships

Dr. Dangles is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, American Medical Association, Central Illinois Orthopaedic Society, Champaign County Medical Society, Clinical Orthopaedic Society, Illinois Orthopaedic Society, and Illinois State Medical Society.  He currently is a trustee for the Illinois State Medical Society 8th District and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois, Champaign.  

 

Specialty

Dr. Dangles is an adult and teen general orthopaedic surgeon.  He has special interests in injuries of the hip, knee, foot and ankle.  He provides treatment of arthritis, arthroscopies surgery, trauma/fractures, and tumor/oncology.  His specialties include adult total joint hip, knee, shoulder, and elbow replacement.

 

General Information

In his spare time, Dr. Dangles logs 5,000 miles annually on one of his 23 bicycles.  He and his wife live in Champaign and have two adult children residing in Chicago.
