Education:
Dr. Norris started his education at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington. Dr. Norris graduated from Illinois Wesleyan Magna Cum Laude and received his bachelor’s degree in Biology. Dr. Norris continued his medical education and residency program at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. During his residency Dr. Norris was honored with Resident Teacher of the Year in Surgery and 3 Excellences in Teaching Awards. Dr. Norris then finished his Fellowship in Sports Medicine with Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Norris is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.
Specialty:
Dr. Norris focuses on all types of sports-related injures and arthroscopic surgery. His specific areas of specialty include shoulders, elbows, hands, hips, and knees. He is also certified to perform Cartilage Restoration with Autologous Chondrocyte Implantation.
General Information:
While at Illinois Wesleyan Dr. Norris was a Four Year Football Letterman with the Titians. He continued his love for football during his sport medicine fellowship, where he served as a team physician for the Baltimore Ravens. Dr. Norris is married and has a daughter. They enjoy water sports, boating, and other active outdoor activities.
Dr. Norris is available at the GAH Orthopaedics Clinic every other Thursday from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
