The Diabetes Education/ Support Program is for people with diabetes and meets the
2nd Thursday of each month, except for January and December. It's purpose is to
provide education on the nature of the disease, and monitoring and controlling the
disease. The support group provides those with diabetes and their family members
with an opportunity to share feelings, products, and personal questions with the
professional leader and other members of the group. The ultimate goal of the program
is to help those with diabetes obtain a better quality of life. For information,
please contact Eileen Woolums at 217.784.2344
