Debby Barnes Awarded GAHHS Employee of the Month for July
July 20, 2012
Debby Barnes has been awarded the Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services (GAHHS) July Employee of the Month.
Debby, originally from Hammond, Indiana, moved to Loda in 1980. For the past five years Debby has been a part of the GAHHS family as a Laundry Aide. Debby said she enjoys working at GAH because it is one cohesive group and not a bunch of separate department.
“Each and every employee throughout the hospital and the clinics work diligently to provide the very best care and services possible for every patient,” said Debbi. “My co-workers are not just within my department, but extend throughout GAHHS. We are all co-workers, unified with the same goal to achieve. It’s a privilege to be part of the GAHHS staff and to work with such caring, professional individuals.”
In her free time Debby enjoys crocheting and painting with acrylics. She and her husband, Bruno, of 41 years have three children: Joe, 38, Dixie, 36, and Rocky, 35. They have also been blessed with eight grandchildren ranging in age for 19 years to 4 months old.
