As CEO at Gibson Area Hospital, Rob encourages the 700+ employees to get involved in the community and volunteer for projects that interest them. Mr. Schmitt is a person who truly makes a difference.  His service is unending and extends across all areas of Ford County and the surrounding areas. Not only is he a member within these organizations, but he has humbly received accolades for his commitment to the clubs and community.  This award marks the third time in five years a difference maker from GAHHS has received this award, when Robin Rose and Miranda Leonard also received the Citizen of the Year honor in 2012 and 2015.  Please join us in congratulating Mr. Schmitt on this wonderful recognition for his outstanding commitment to serving others.
