Jessica Delost is the Chief Compliance and Legal Officer. Even though her sights were set on a future in law at a young age, growing up, Jessica truly understood the impact of medicine in Gibson City and surrounding communities. After graduating from GCMS in 2003, she earned her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from the University of Illinois in 2007. While attending law school at St. Louis University, Jessica learned she could combine both passions, law and medicine, and graduated in 2011 with her Juris Doctor and a certificate in Health Law. Jessica began her legal career at GAHHS in 2012 as In-House Counsel. She earned a Master of Laws in Health Law from Loyola University Chicago in 2016 and gained additional compliance duties at GAHHS at the end of 2019. Jessica is currently a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Illinois Association of Healthcare Attorneys, and the Health Care Compliance Association and volunteers as a coach for Girls on the Run of Champaign County. Jessica’s spare time is spent with family and friends, her dogs, and cheering on the best team in baseball, the St. Louis Cardinals.
