Gibson Area Ambulance Service provides 5 Advanced Life Support Ambulances staffed 24 hours a day. Ambulances are based in Gibson City, Paxton, & Saybrook Arrowsmith. These ambulances provide emergency medical care to the communities of Gibson City, Paxton, Loda, Elliott, Melvin, Sibley, Foosland, Bellflower, Thawville, Saybrook, and Arrowsmith, covering approximately 1200 square miles of rural area.
