Long Term Care

At the Gibson Area Hospital Annex, our dedicated staff provides outstanding care to each resident as if they were their own family.  Our goal is to promote the highest level of independence for each resident in our family-like environment.

Our 42-bed facility offers residents a quiet, rural setting with doctors and a hospital just a few steps away.

Services Offered:

Nursing

  • At the Gibson Area Hospital Annex, we pride ourselves on providing the comforts of home while having the conveniences of hospital services just down the hall.  Whether a resident is here for a short period of time or long term, we want to make their stay comfortable and enjoyable.  Our goal is to deliver resident-centered care that promotes dignity and the highest quality of life.  At the Annex we pride ourselves on the fact that our staffing is well above federal guidelines.  This allows us to provide more 1 on 1 attention to our residents.  Because we are a small home we are able to get to know our residents and their families very well.  To us, our residents are family.  The Annex being attached to Gibson Area Hospital provides us with numerous benefits.  One such benefit is our “Rehab to Home” program.  At the Annex we are able to utilize the hospital therapy staff and equipment.  This allows for a quick and seamless transition for our residents who need that extra time and therapy to be able to return home.  Another great benefit to being connected to Gibson Area Hospital is that resident doctor’s appointments and lab work are easily accomplished.  We do not have to arrange for transportation with family members or a transportation service; we simply take our residents directly to their appointments and tests.  Our dedicated and caring nursing team looks forward to taking care of you or your loved one.
