Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services (GAHHS) is a full-service hospital with state-of-the-art equipment and over 900 highly trained employees. We are pleased to offer observational job shadowing experiences to students who are interested in exploring the wide array of challenging and rewarding positions that the healthcare field has to offer!
To job shadow at GAHHS, you must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
You will be required to upload the following documents, so please have these ready before starting the application process:
- Proof of 2 MMR vaccines or immunity to MMR by titer
- Proof of 2 varicella vaccines or immunity to varicella by titer
- Receipt of this year's flu vaccine – if not completed, students can still shadow but must mask in all patient care areas (during the flu season)
All necessary forms must be submitted before we can schedule any experiences. Please note that job shadows are observation only, if you are requiring clinical placement please utilize the Clinical Rotation Application found on the previous page.
