Specialties

Dr. Alazem specializes in urologic conditions such as kidney stones, enlarged prostate (BPH), erectile dysfunction (ED), low testosterone, urinary incontinence, overactive bladder (OAB), urinary tract infections (UTIs), blood in urine (hematuria), and elevated PSA, as well as prostate, kidney, bladder, and other urologic cancers. He treats the full range of urologic conditions for both men and women. Procedures performed include robotic and minimally invasive surgery, kidney stone surgery, prostate surgery, cystoscopy, vasectomy, continence procedures (slings), vaginal surgery, scrotal procedures, penile implants, reconstructive urology, adult circumcision, and more. 

 

About Dr. Alazem

Dr. Alazem was born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. He completed his undergraduate degree at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and MD degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed his residency training in Urological Surgery at the Lahey Clinic in Boston, Massachusetts.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Urological Association and the North Central Section of the AUA. He is on the medical staff at Gibson Area Hospital in Gibson City, IL.

He has extensive training in robotic and minimally invasive surgery, and strives to provide the highest level of personalized care with dedication, skill and commitment.
