Scott Hasselbring Awarded GAHHS Employee of the Month for September

Scott Hasselbring has been awarded the Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services (GAHHS) September Employee of the Month. Scott was born and raised in Onarga, IL and currently lives in Anchor. At GAH, Scott is the Maintenance Supervisor and a Decon Team Leader. He is certified in I-100 and I-200 FEMA Incident Command, Emergency Management, Hospital De-Con Operations, D.O.T. Haz-Mat, and Firestop.

Scott has worked at GAHHS for over 24 years and likes that his job is constantly changing which provides him with a challenge. However, Scott said he really enjoys the people he works with. “The people are great to work with and I feel I can make a positive impact on the services the hospital provides to the area.”

In his free time Scott loves gardening, hunting, target shooting, and spending time with his girlfriend Julie Tinsman, his daughter Kelly (22), and the girls. The girls are a flock of chickens that he spoils. Scott says by giving them what they want, like white cake, they produce very large farm fresh eggs.
