Jennifer Eisenmann has been awarded the Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services (GAHHS) October Employee of the Month.
Jennifer, originally from Lake Iroquois, now lives in Cissna Park with her husband Zach. She is a graduate of the Parkland Nursing Program and has been an RN at GAH for three years. Currently, she works in the Medical-Surgical, ICU and OB Departments.
Jennifer says she enjoys being an RN because she is able to care for others.
“I chose nursing as a profession for my love of helping and caring for others. I enjoy the time I am able to spend with my patients and their families,” explained Jennifer. “I also enjoy the variety of care that I am able to provide to my patients at GAH, working in the different departments.”
Growing up in the area, Jennifer says she likes the small town atmosphere of GAH.
“I enjoy working at GAH because of the small town atmosphere the hospital possesses and because of my fellow co-workers.” Jennifer continued, “We all work as a great team, giving our patients the best possible care.”
When Jennifer is not at GAH, she enjoys staying fit, running, boating and spending time with her friends and family
