Tanya Marie Windle has been awarded the Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services(GAHHS) January Employee of the Month.
Tanya, currently a resident of Saybrook, spent the first 16 years of her life in Monroe, Louisiana. During her sophomore year of high school, Tanya’s mother, who worked for State Farm, moved the family to Bloomington, IL. In 1992, Tanya received her CNA certificate and began her career in the medical field. She continued her education and earned her CPC-Coding and Billing Certificate and EMT-B License.
Tanya has worked at Gibson Area Hospital for two years and is currently a CNA and Unit Secretary for the Medical Surgical Department.
“I love my job with the hospital because it gives me the opportunity to help someone in need and meet them wherever they are in their life,” said Tanya. “This in turn inspires me to be a better person and to strive to show love and grace as much as I can.”
Tanya is blessed to be married to her best friend Shaun. They have four children: Austin 19), Zachery(17), Lexie(13) and Faith(6) and three dogs Daisy, Shooter and Sadie. Tanya spends as much of her free time with her family and friends as possible, but when not with them she is at church and bible study, working towards obtaining her associates degree and preparing to become a Norwex Consultant.
