Ken Kulow has been awarded the Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services (GAHHS) May Employee of the Month.
For the past nine years Ken, a Hazmat/Decon Coordinator and Courtesy Cart Driver, has been an integral part of the GAHHS family. He is originally from Hubbard, Iowa, but has spent a large part of his life in Paxton.
Ken said he enjoys his job because of all the diverse people he get to interact with on a daily basis.
"As a Courtesy Cart Driver I get to meet a diverse group of people each day from patients, families, doctors, vendors and of course our great employees," said Ken.
Ken is an avid sports fan. He enjoys Nascar, the Illini and baseball; especially the St. Louis Cardinals. When not watching sports, Ken enjoys spending time with his wife Mary Lou and his extended family of five children, 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
