Kat Streenz, of Saybrook, has been awarded the Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services (GAHHS) July Employee of the Month.
For over four and a half years Kat has been an invaluable part of the GAHHS Administration team. As an Administrative Assistant she has her hand in, or helped out in almost every project, presentation, meeting or celebration GAHHS holds. It is this variety that she enjoys.
"I really enjoy my job because there is always a new challenge to take head on," said Kat. "When you factor that into the fact that everyone is so friendly and like a second family I can say that this is the place I want to be."
While having a job you enjoy is great Kat continued to say that being a part of such a great organization is reward in and of itself.
"It is great being a part of GAHHS because they not only strive to be the best, but they also continue to look for ways to become even better," said Kat.
In her spare time you can find Kat perfecting her cooking or getting that perfect shot with her camera. When not behind her lens you can find Kat enjoying time with her husband, Tony, her son, Nic, and his fiancée, Stephanie Standish.
