On February 12th, 2014, Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services (GAHHS) will hold the first meeting of the new Caregiver Support Group. The Caregiver Support Group will meeting from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at the Geriatric Behavioral Services/Behavioral Wellness Center located at #4 Doctors Park in Gibson City.
The Caregiver Support Group was created to provide an added support system for those that are caring for another and may be living with the daily stressors of the process of caring for another person along with attempting to care for themselves.
The first meeting of the Caregiver Support Group will be an introductory meeting and cover the history on caregiving and allow for discussion. Subsequent meetings will take place on the first Wednesday of each month at #4 Doctors Park.
