Colleen Sorensen, born and raised in Cissna Park, has been awarded the Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services (GAHHS) December Employee of the Month. Colleen, a registered nurse in the Medical Surgical Department, has a BSN from Lakeview College of Nursing and has worked at GAHHS for three years.
Colleen says she enjoys her job, but what make it truly special are her coworkers and the patients she sees.
“I love every day that I work, said Colleen. “I have an amazing group of coworkers that are helpful and great, plus each day I have the opportunity to help someone feel better.”
Colleen and her husband, Ross, have two dogs and currently living in rural Buckley. When they have downtime they enjoy spending their time outside, preferably with family and friends.
