In March 2015, Gibson Area Hospital welcomed Kelsey Montoya as the Director of Development for the GAH Foundation. Born and raised on a farm near Macomb, Kelsey has always had a place in her heart for small towns. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Western Illinois University. After graduating, she moved to Texas and spent the last 10 years working in the healthcare industry. Kelsey has successfully owned and operated a family practice clinic in San Antonio and Rio Grande Valley areas, specializing in homebound patients and concierge medicine.
Kelsey brings enterprising energy and business acumen to the Foundation and has goals of helping donors create a lasting legacy within the Gibson Area Hospital. She keeps busy by meeting residents of Gibson City and the surrounding communities to share with them how their charitable dollars are at work within the hospital. New and upcoming programs and campaigns are being introduced, and you can expect to see Kelsey raising awareness of the need for donor’s support to maintain excellence in health care programs and services here at Gibson Area Hospital.
Kelsey moved back to central Illinois to be close to her parents and siblings and raise her three children, Presley, and twins Nicholas and Paisley. They reside in Normal and enjoy biking, traveling and being outdoors.
