US Congresswoman Robin L. Kelly (IL-02) Visits GAHHS!
We would like to extend a BIG thank you to US Congresswoman Robin L. Kelly (IL-02) and her staff for taking time out of their busy schedule to stop by and tour Gibson Area Hospital and Health Services (GAHHS) today! Rep. Kelly met with GAHHS Administration to learn more about Rural Health Care, the importance of Critical Access Hospitals, and the need for continued access to healthcare, specifically in rural areas.
While visiting GAHHS today, Rep. Kelly and her staff received a tour of our Hospital facility and new Medical Office Building, where she received a first-hand view of the importance to access to healthcare, especially in rural communities. She got to see the GAHHS Dental Clinic, Medical and Surgical Units, OB Unit, Emergency Department, Surgery Department, Radiology Services, and the Medical Office Building.
